SGA EXECUTIVE BOARD

President
Luka is the president of the SGA. He is double-majoring in Finance & Economics and Global Business Management. An alpine skier from Croatia who heard about this great opportunity of studying at Lake Tahoe and decided to give it a try. Luka loves Tahoe because he can ski down the ski slope and, in five minutes. Every student at SNC has a chance to stick out and make a change to our society which is what Luka pursues on a daily basis. After SNC, he wants to get a master’s degree in Europe.
Vice President
Drake is a Junior at SNU serving his second year with SGA as the Vice President. Drake is a Marketing and Digital Arts major with a minor in Outdoor and Adventure Leadership. He serves as an ambassador and photographer for the ODAL program along with being the President of the SNC’s Rock Climbing Club! Drake can also be found working at Incline Village’s local coffee shop (I.V. Coffeelab) as a Barista.
Treasurer
Jose, also known as Speedy, is a Junior serving his second term on SGA as the Treasure. On top of being Treasure he is also treasure of climbing club, president of climbing club, captain of the Cross Country, and proud Texan. His love of nature and ambition to save the environment is what lead him to SNC and pursue a degree in Natural Resource Management. After which he plans to attend law school, "I order to save and hug trees".
Director of Communications
Madalyn Johnson is currently a junior. Her majors are Global Business and Ski Resort Management. The land she calls her home is Michigan. SNC is a great college for her as she likes to ski, Maddy is always found skiing especially buried in snow on a powder day. After college, she plans to work in the ski industry and travel the world. Her hobbies include being on the golf team and the president of the volleyball club. One thing you can always find her eating Mac & Cheese.
Sustainability Chair
Gregory Mifune is a nontraditional student hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area, who joined Sierra Nevada College during the Spring Semester of the 2018/2019 school year. He is pursuing a business double-major in Marketing, and Ski Business Resort Management, as well as a minor in Entrepreneurship. After completing an undergraduate degree at SNC, Gregory hopes to attend the Carey JD/MBA Program at the University of Pennsylvania Law School and the Wharton School.
Director of Events
Ronan Hill is a sophomore at Sierra Nevada College double majoring in English and Environmental Science. He can be found at the gym, in class, on the ski slopes, or at any one of the restaurants in town. He can also be found keeping campus safe and making fun events for on campus students in his position as a resident assistant. He loves being in Tahoe because the incredible environment he gets to live in every day. Ronan comes from the east coast, Vermont.
Advisor
Will Hoida
Will Hoida, Dean of Students and Activities Director, oversees the Student Affairs department at SNC Tahoe and has served as the Advisor to the college’s Student Government Association for the past 11 years. Dean Hoida enjoys leading trips for the college’s Outdoor Adventure program and holds certifications in Swift Water Rescue, Avalanche Awareness, Climbing Instruction, and Wilderness First Responder. Will is the person to ask if you have any questions about student activities.
